We have unbelievable turistic places. Well, I'm going to give you a little introduccion about my home town.

Zacatlán is located in the noth of Puebla. Its name comes from Náhuatl meaning "Were gass abounds". Also is known as "Zacatlán de las manzanas" because there, people are producers of this fruit. On August we have a lot of apples especially on the middle of the month. You have to taste all of ours  types of apples, you will love them!

Most of people complain about the weather when visit my town because all the year we have a strange weather. For example; a common day could start whit a cute sun, then rain and finally there ir mist everywhere. I'm seriously! It happens all the time, but it doesn't import, I really love its weather especially on december because is too freezing.

A popular tradition is make a special kind of bread. It's known as "Pan de queso" the chesse is inside of the bread, the taste is sweet, really is very delicious. By the way still it's backen in ovens of wood. There are many types of bread such as picadas, morelianas, almohadas, gallinas, burras etc. Also in Zacatlan bakeries make sweet bread whith requeson inside. Requeson is a kind of cheese that can be sweet or salty.

One of the most important places is the downtown, where you can appreciate the convent, the parish, buildings with a colonial style and the monumental clock. Near there is a factory of clocks, also it's a important museum called Relojes Centenario where the history of zacatlan has a important place.

My Town

I'm from Zacatlán, it's a magic town located in the Sierra poblana. Its name derives from teh Nahuatl words Zacatl (Grass) and Tlan (Place suffix) meaning "Place where grasses abound". It is also one of the largest producers of apples, this is the reason because it's known as Zacatlán of apples.

The most attractive places.

1.- Museum of watches "Alberto Olvera"
Factories of watches are the main attractions of my town. One of them is "Relojes Centenario" wich holds the museum of watchmaking "Alberto Olvera", the same that made the monumental clock, there in Zacatlan. It is a big watch accompanied with flowers, it's ubicated in downtown. Also you can listen a special song at 12:00am/pm o'clock.

2.- Ex Franciscan Convent.
Located in the main garden, opposite the parish. This construction is completed in 1567, it's the oldest of Puebla. Inside you'll see murals depicting wildlife like deer, bees and jaguars and Indian characters. This convent is the only one in Latin America that continues to function after 440 years old.

3.- Piedras Encimadas.
Around them there is a legend, that says "They are giants who were punished for a pre-hispanic god who turned them in stones. However, today we know it has around 65 million years old and that volcanic activity, chemical reactions and atmospheric agents such as rain, wind, and sun are factors over time and through millions of years formed and molded this sculpture rocks.

  Fair of apple.

We have a special party, it's celebrate every single year in august. It's a celebration for fruticultores (who plants fruit) and our saints. At the finally day we have a big parede and a special mass, the queen give us apples, and people participate with their shows. It's a little about my town. I love everything about it.

This is my story about school days.

The things I remember most about my firts school are my partners playing in the principal yard, the noise of the classroom, the big scool store, but specially I remember a person. Alexis, he was my best friend in the elementary school. He used to sit by my side and he was so cute to me. He used to share his breakfast whit me and it was perfect. May be I was in love with him.

Alexis was good at everything. He used to play soccer, by the way he was the best player. Also he played basquetball. He always used to running around the school's backyard and I used to go with him. I used to smile at him, I wanted spend more time together but just we're children. That's what I think now.

The last week I was on facebook and suddenly I found his profile, I couldn't believe. I was very excited. I sent him an invitation to be friends, obviosly he accepted me. Next day I wrote a message to him. I didn't get a reply at the moment. However a couple of hours Alexis made contact. After exchanging a lot of messages, we decieded to meet for coffee. I felt really curious to know what he was like now. When we finally met. he looked complety different, but he looked so handsome.

We talked a lot about we'd done since leaving scool and our lifes now. He's at the college but not here in Puebla, he's living in Mexico City, he loves his life. We laughed together. Then I confessed that I used to love spend time with him, he only said 'I used to love you, but I didn't say anything because I was too shy, at the moment I felt so good.
